General Frequently Asked Questions
GETS REWARDS
GETS Rewards is collection of Independent Loyalty Programs combined with a Premium Coalition Loyalty Program - all on one app that we call the Club Rewards App or Club Rewards Program. Every time you buy from a Getslocal Merchant you save money, earn Premium or Solo Points which can be used towards unique deals not available anywhere else.
REGISTRATION
Step 1 Sign Up: You need to register for a Getslocal club rewards account in order to start collecting points. Click the Sign Up button located on our website and select Club Sign Up. Simply complete the registration details as instructed, all you need is a cell phone number and email.
Step 2 Verify: Getslocal will send you an SMS message to verify your account. Once you do this and your account has been verified you can view what's available in your local community as a Basic Club Member.
Step 3 Subscribe: Join the Premium Club and receive the ability to join multiple merchants loyalty programs and link a spending card to earn points seamlessly.
CLUB REWARDS APP
The Club Rewards App is available on both the Apple (iOS) and Google Play (Android) app stores to download for free. You can also install the Club Rewards App as a web app on your pc, laptop, and mobile device from club.getslocal.us
MEMBERSHIPS
Within the Club Rewards Program there are two types of members: Basic and Premium.
OPTION 1. Basic Membership is available and provides restricted access to a view only service with no earning possibilities or access to Premium benefits. For instructions go to your profile at club.getslocal.us to upgrade your account.
OPTION 2. Premium Membership offers exclusive perks and savings. This is a paid for service. Subscription fees are published on our website link below.

AVAILABILITY
Merchants may choose to offer special deals, discounts, and more for Club Members to spend their rewards points on.
The reward points and deals are subject to availability and the issuing and redemption terms of the individual merchants AND not GETSLOCAL.
GETSLOCAL is not responsible for any failure by a Participating Merchant or Member to provide goods and services in return for reward points that you may have accumulated.
ZIP CODE
When you register for the Club Rewards Program we request a ZIP Code to display businesses relative to your location, typically within a 50 mile radius. If you need to change your ZIP Code you can do so anytime by visiting your profile and updating the ZIP Code field. You can also increase the distance from 50 miles on the map by going to the filters on the marketplace.
REFERRAL
Of course, you can send us an email with their relevant contact information using the contact page. We would like to reward you for referring businesses to us that join GETS Rewards and will reward your account with Premium Points when they complete the sign up process and have been verified.
SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Yes, we are always trying to improve the user experience for our Club Member. All features and functions of the app are subject to change from time to time and are subject to our Terms and Conditions.
IN STORE SIGN UP
Look out for the Club Rewards QR Codes in your local stores. Simply walk into any participating Merchant and ask the staff to provide you with their QR Code or Referral Link, the Club Rewards Program will require your mobile phone number, email, and ZIP code.
Once your mobile number is entered, you will receive a text message with a link. Click this link and follow the instructions to complete your sign up and become a Club Rewards Member.
POINTS
Your contract in regard to the earning and redemption of reward points from Participating Merchants or Members, and the goods and services which can be obtained by reward points from Participating Merchants or Members is with the Participating Merchants or Members and NOT with GETSLOCAL.
Therefore, GETSLOCAL is not responsible for any failure by a Participating Merchant or Member to provide goods and services in return for reward points that you may have accumulated.
Frequently Asked Questions about Points and Rewards on the Club Rewards App
POINTS YOU CAN COLLECT
GETS Rewards app allows Getslocal Club Members to collect and earn two types of Reward Points:
Solo Points are points that can only be spent with the Merchant they were earned from.
Premium Points are earned from Premium Merchants, which can then be spent at all Getslocal merchants. Not all Premium Merchants offer Premium Points all the time, they are unique and should be earned whenever possible.
Both Solo and Premium points are subject to the Terms and Conditions.
FAVORITES
On the Club Rewards App, you are just one click away from hundreds of dollars worth of Solo Points from local Merchants. Once you add them as your Favorite, you will receive special deals and personalized offers from them, as well as Bonus Solo points from many to get you started!
Favorite a merchant by clicking the heart icon next to their name in the marketplace or by visiting their profile and selecting "add to favorites"
Favoriting a merchant is subscribing to their loyalty program. You must favorite a merchant in order to earn rewards points (solo and premium). The reward points and deals are subject to availability and the issuing and redemption terms of the individual merchants AND not GETSLOCAL.
RECEIPT UPLOAD
Uploading your receipt through the Club Rewards App is done by going to Favorites Page on the Club Rewards App. You can navigate to the Favorites Page by selecting the Favorites button located on the home screen of the app.
Once you are on the Favorites Page you will then see the Upload Receipt button located under each of your Favorite Merchants. Select Upload receipt and then fill out the form as well as the picture of your receipt with that specific merchant. Please make sure your receipt is clear and easy to read or it may be rejected by the issuing merchant.
SOLO POINTS
On the Club Rewards App you can earn Solo Points from your favorite Merchants with every purchase. These Solo Points can ONLY be used to purchase Solo Deals from the Merchants where you earned them.
Solo Points use and their functionality are subject to Terms and Conditions.
EARN SOLO POINTS
It’s Simple all you need to earn Solo Points with every purchase you must first add a Merchant as a “Favorite” before you can collect their Solo Points. These Solo Points earned can ONLY be redeemed by the Merchant or used to purchase Solo Deals with the Merchants where they were earned.
Solo Points are earned on purchases with your favorite merchants in three different ways:
1) Through card linking via plaid, when you spend with your linked card, points are added to your account automatically.
2) Through Uploading a picture of your receipt with merchant (for cash transactions)
3) Merchant adds points manually using the Club Connect App.
SOLO DEALS
Once you add a Merchant as your favorite, you will receive special deals and personalized offers from them, as well as earn Solo Points on all your purchases with them. You can spend your Solo Points on deals that the merchant has setup. These deals or offers are called Solo Deals. Save up Solo Points to reach the next level Solo Deal and if your lucky enough to have earned Premium Points, you can combine them with your Solo Points to purchase the deal. Solo Deals use and their functionality are subject to Terms and Conditions.
PREMIUM POINTS
ONLY Premium Merchants can issue Premium Points on purchases. Premium Points are like Solo Points that can be spent on deals with all merchants on the Club Rewards App. Premium Points can be used together with Solo Points at Merchants to unlock Solo Deals. Additionally, Premium Points can be used to unlock Premium Deals where you get special prices and can use secret promo codes for greater discounts. Premium Deals can sometimes give you the opportunity to earn more Premium Points.
Premium Points use and their functionality are subject to Terms and Conditions.
EARN PREMIUM POINTS
Premium Points are offered by Premium Merchants that you can discover in 2 ways:
1. On the Club Rewards App look for Premium offers from Premium Merchants
. When you are on the Club Rewards App look on the Map for the multi-colored 5 star icon. Premium Merchants may not choose to always offer Premium Points, so when you see the opportunity, earn them while you can.
2. Visit the Find Deals section on the Club Rewards App and search for any Special Promotions or Premium Deals. There you'll be able to see where you can EARN Premium Points and how much is being offered.
In order to earn Premium Points at your favorite merchants, that have setup premium offers, happens in two different ways:
1) Merchants have Premium Deals that allow you turn earn premium points for purchasing and redeeming.
2) Merchant adds points manually using the Club Connect App.
PREMIUM DEALS
Premium Deals are where Club Members can access special prices and can use secret promo codes for greater discounts when using Premium Points. Premium Deals are not always available and may come in limited quantities. Premium Deals can also give you the opportunity to earn Premium Points which can be spent at all Getslocal Merchants subject to Terms and Conditions.
REDEEMING POINTS
Both Solo and Premium Points can be redeemed for Solo Deal E-Vouchers. Premium Points can be redeemed for Premium E-Vouchers.
These vouchers can then be redeemed in person, with the Merchant, by showing them an activated voucher in store through the Club Rewards App on your device, and letting the member of staff enter their PIN Code to redeem. Once redeemed they will complete the process so that you receive your offer.
Certain Merchants may allow for vouchers to be redeemed online. If this is the case when you purchase either your Solo or Premium Voucher you will be given a unique promo code that you will enter online at the checkout page. Merchants may also have specific Terms and Conditions for redeeming vouchers and deals.
EARNING POINTS
Not always, you can earn points in many ways, for example, a Merchant may issue Solo Points if you add them as a Favorite, some Merchants may reward you for introducing a friend where you and your friend receive rewards and also if you share their offers on social media sites such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
E-VOUCHERS
On the Club Rewards App you can create and activate E-Vouchers from Merchants Premium Deals or Solo Deals. These Vouchers have a three day countdown which means they have to be redeemed with the issuing Merchant within three days of activating the vouchers.

USE GETS REWARDS ON ANY DEVICE
As long as you have the SAME number, your Rewards points are safe in your account. Your account is linked to your phone number not your phone, you can access the Club Rewards Program on any web connected device by going to here.
If you do change your phone number it has to be changed on the Club Rewards App by you.
EARNING POINTS
Yes you can still EARN points by using your linked card if you are a Premium Club Member or by uploading a picture of your receipt via the app. Free Club Members can only earn points with the merchant they registered with by uploading a picture of your receipt.
PLEASE NOTE for security reasons you cannot not SPEND your points without the Club Rewards App.
SPENDING POINTS
No for security reasons you cannot redeem Solo Points, Premium Points, or E-Vouchers without your device.
DELETED APP
No you don't lose your points when you remove the Club Rewards App from your phone BUT you will not be able to spend them without the Club Rewards App. You can add the Club Rewards App back on your phone at a later date.
However, as per our Terms and Conditions, your account may be considered as inactive after an extended period of time and may be closed without notice. We suggest that you maintain your account activity and use your points.
FAVORITES GONE
Sadly, if a Merchant goes out of business or leaves the Club Rewards Program there’s not much we can do.
However, if you have earned Premium Points, you can redeem your Premium Points at other Merchants on the Club Rewards App.
DO MY POINTS EXPIRE?
Your Rewards Points do not Expire.
However, as per our Terms and Conditions, your account may be considered as inactive after an extended period of time and may be closed without notice. We suggest that you maintain your account activity and use your points.
Frequently Asked Questions regarding a Club Rewards Account
CARD LINKING
We utilize the Plaid platform interface as the medium to connect to your spending cards for automatic points on your shopping with your favorite merchants. During the card link process, Plaid will prompt you to log in to your bank to establish the connection. Once the connection is established, Plaid will securely share the relevant transaction data on the account that you have authorized to share with us. Please be assured that we do not have access to your login credentials and cannot perform any actions on your account in any way. PLAID
In order to link a card for earning points with the Club Rewards Program you must be subscribed as a Premium Club Member.
Linking a card through our apps are quick and easy. Simply navigate to your Wallet & QR Code or your Profile (web app only) and locate the section labeled Linked Cards. Select Linked Cards and click 'Link a New Card'. Then Plaid's system will walk you through step-by-step on how to complete the setup process. Once complete you will be able to spend using your linked card and earn points automatically with all your favorite merchants.
MANAGE SUBSCRIPTION
Manage your Club Member subscription by going to the My Profile page on the Web App (club.getslocal.us).
On the My Profile page on the Web App you will see a tab labeled "Membership Plans", once you have selected membership plans you will then be able to purchase or cancel an existing Premium Club Subscription.
For accessibility purposes we only allow Club Members to manage their subscriptions on the Web App. If you have downloaded the Native App on either iOS or Android you will need to navigate to club.getslocal.us in your web browser and navigate to the My Profile to manage your subscriptions.
CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION
You can cancel your Premium Club subscription by going to the My Profile page on the Web App (club.getslocal.us).
On the My Profile page on the Web App you will see a tab labeled "Membership Plans", once you have selected membership plans you will then be able to cancel an existing Premium Club Subscription by selecting "Cancel Subscription". Canceling your Premium Subscription is subject to the Terms and Conditions.
For accessibility purposes we only allow Club Members to manage their subscriptions on the Web App. If you have downloaded the Native App on either iOS or Android you will need to navigate to club.getslocal.us in your web browser and navigate to the My Profile to manage your subscriptions.
UPLOAD REJECTION
A Getslocal Administrator may reject an uploaded receipt for a number of reasons:
- Trouble Reading Image
- Incorrect Date
- Incorrect Amount
- Wrong Merchant Selected
If your receipt upload was rejected you will receive a comment stating why it was rejected and how to correct the upload.
MEMBERSHIP DOWNGRADE
If you decide to downgrade from the Premium Club Program or there is an issue with your payment your Premium Club Member status will be downgraded to the Basic Club Member Status.
If you have a card linked through Plaid this will be unlinked and you will only be able to earn and spend points with the merchant you registered with.
All of your points, earned with your favorite merchants will not be removed. However, you will only be able to earn and spend them if you upgrade back to the Premium Club Program.
PASSWORD
On the Club Rewards App we don't use passwords, because your account is linked to your phone number. To login to Club Rewards App, all you need to remember is your cell number. Once you open the Club Rewards App you will be prompted to enter your number and you will receive a “One Time Code” which expires after a few minutes. Once you have logged in you will remain logged in until you log back out.
NOTIFICATIONS
No Problem, you are in control at all times who can send you Text Messages, Emails and Push notifications. To do this go to the Menu on the Club Rewards App and select “Notifications Settings” then select the Merchant options you wish to turn off. You can disable notifications with specific merchants either all together or specifically with text, email, or push notifications. Additionally you can turn all notifications off altogether.
ACCOUNT DEACTIVATION AND DELETION
You can request account deletion by going to the "My Profile" or "Profile" sections of the Club Rewards App. You will then see the "Delete Account" button located at the bottom of your profile.
Once the delete procedure has been completed your account will be deleted as per our Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy.
